The smell of garlic chicken is awesome
The food has always been great, but I wish they would give you bigger portions of the fried plantains. The atmosphere is crowded and loud, nothing special. The service is good, and if you are picking up, it's even better. The value for what you get is amazing. $10 for half a chicken, rice, beans, plantains, and onions? I can eat 2 meals out of it. The Venice location is better for a lot of reasons, but this location is great too. Encino is just ok. Why? It's Encino.

Two Thumbs Down
From begining to end our experience was horrible. The wrong dish came out after waiting a long time on a slow night. The steak was flavorless and leathery. We were overcharged for an item we didn't even order or eat.
