    Simply Awesome!

I went to TiGeorge for dinner tonight and it was simply awesome! The atmosphere is excellent. The food is flavorful and the TiGeorge himself, provides great service. He had a wonderful personality and great customer service. To make things better, the food was delicious! I will definitely go back for more high quality Haitian Cuisine!

    Decent but not traditional

I was visiting LA from Haiti last year in 2012, and I was surprised and excited to hear about a Haitian restaurant in LA. I went pay TiGoerges a visit. The menu is very restricted and carries only a few real Haitian dishes. The only Chicken they carry is rotisserie, which is not traditional Haitian stew chicken. The Griot (fried pork) was very good. The fried Plantain was excellent and typical. The rice was not very good, Haitian cuisine is known for having some of the best rice in the world. Haitian rice and beans is normally flavorful and could be eaten as a meal itself, but TiGoerges rice was very dry and missing flavor. The Haitian hot pepper (picklize) was not spicy at all :( Overall the food was decent, the portions were good and I would eat there again but if you are looking for real traditional Haitian food, you will have to travel to the NYC area or the Miami area.

maybe it was a bad day.

I went to this place after seeing a reveiw of it on T.V., It sounded great so I decided to try it. Got there it was only 1 other customer. We ordered a nice lunch his chicken, rice etc. and a side order of Plantoons.the food was good but the owner was down right grumpy. the food was pretty good not great but good service and a nice personality goes far when you are spending money on something you can do at home. Also for a lunch it was somewhat exspensive .Almost $20.00 for each person. i will chalk it up to maybe he was having a bad day. I might give them 1 more chance. Everybody has the right to a bad day every now and then.
