    Poor service!

Especially considering price point and food quality. I've kept coming back for years because of the food, even when friends refused to go because of the poor service. However after embarrassing me with their appallingly snotty attitude in an important business meeting, I will never return.

    Extremely disappointing

After reading the reviews, was expecting great things. Dingy and lacking atmosphere, the food pretty much matched that. No wonder the place was nearly empty at 8pm. Never, ever going back.

    Disappointing

Very disappointed. It did not meet the rave reviews. Despite having a reservation, we waited nearly an hour for our table. Service was extremely slow. At the end, better quality seafood can be had at numerous other restaurants with far better service, prices and atmosphere. We were extremely disappointed.

    Fine dining for two

There are many restaurant options for a meal, but for a fine dining experience (gourmet seafood, good wine, outstanding dessert), The Hungry Cat is perfect. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is professional, inviting but not eager. For around $100, a very reasonable price given the quality of this restaurant, two people can share a large, delicious salad, each have glass of Pinot and an amazing main course (recommend the one with the Oxtail Ragout), and finish with a chocolate bread and butter pudding. Definitely a satisfying and special experience.
