    Best Bar in L.A.

So listen. I eat out every day. I do love to cook, but I go out in order to see more of what's out there and for ideas, etc. When I go out alone, I generally sit where I can watch the kitchen, but to sit and watch a busy bar is equally as appealing to me. This place is un-freakin-believable!! I really don't think the average person realizes how exceptional this company's drinks are. There is no margarita mix from a box or daiquiri mix or pina colada mix or anything even remotely like that. Everything is high quality puree and juice and fresh fruits and on and on and on. Everything is from scratch. And they have a recipe for EVERYTHING!! They made me change my routine. The Cheesecake Factory changed my regular "going out to eat routine" because I will almost always sit at the bar now. It is ONLY equally as appealing to me because of The Cheesecake Factory. I've been to plenty of places who are awesome at being average. The Cheesecake Factory is a corporate, national chain which I usually steer very clear of. But they are masters of exceptional. From the front desk to the server/ bartender staff and everyone else that I saw... It was like everyone was honestly glad to be there. So unbelievable. I happened to be there for happy hour, which, until then, I didn't know even existed there, and I had three appetizers and 3 cocktails. I was so stuffed I couldn't finish even half of my food, and their drinks are HUUUUGE!! It turns out, that their happy hour menu is the exact same portion as their regular menu--for both food AND drink--but for happy hour it's only 5 bucks each!! I can't say enough about how impressed I was just with their ingredient choices, but then to taste the cocktails--WOW!! I would have scoffed at a review of a place that is as glowing as mine is right now, except that I was there, and I saw it first hand, and it was sensational. I have been back 8 times since that first time. Every time I sat at the bar. Every time I ordered at least one thing that I had before and at least one thing that I had never had before. I LOVED most of what I had. The worst I can say about any of it is that I liked it a lot. Go there. Enjoy it. Everything is worth a chance. But the bar-- SIT! AT! THE! BAR! It will make you into a cocktail aficionado. If you want a great place, with great food, great drinks, great staff, great service, great ingredients, and great memories, and great reasons to return... then this is what you're looking for. Do yourself a favor and go!

    Great Place

This is a very good restaurant with great cheesecake (I would try their Godiva Cheesecake), but they have very large portions.
