My "go-to" for Indian in LA
The food here is SO good! The curries are all delicious and the CHEESE NAAN is the best anywhere--made with a smoked mozzarella, it's like nowhere else in the city. I don't actually eat AT the restaurant much (I most often do take-out), as the dining room is aesthetically cold and a bit lacking in the ambience department. If they would just add some warmth to the interior design, this restaurant would be the total package! Regardless, the staff is always extremely welcoming and attentive.

my favorite indian restaurant in LA!
I love Surya - probably eat here at least once a month. I'm addicted to their Mint Chicken, and love the Rogan Josh as well. Ambience is casual elegant - service is attentive and friendly.
