    Felt like home!

I went to Stevie's Creole Bar and Grill at the recommendation of a friend and found it was all that she said and more. The food was great, I drove a long way to get to Stevie's and it was worth the drive. I had Blackened Catfish with rice and vegetables and it was very tasty, the best I had in a while. I'm from New Orleans and was dying for some home cooking and Stevie's hit the spot. You can bet I'll be back. Thanks Stevie.

Still no good Creole resturants in the Valley

Took a date here to enjoy the jazz band and was extremely disappointed. It took 30 minutes to be seated when we had arrived early for dinner and the show, there was only one other couple waiting to be seated and only four parties at the restaurant. It took a half hour for a waitress to show up although the buss boy was helpful. I ordered the blackened black croupier and it was cold when it finally arrived. I asked the server to do something about it and never saw her again. A host approached the table to let me know that if I wanted to stay to see the band I would have to pay, and dropped the bill off.

    Poor Service

First we arrived and was immediately taken to our table. Bad thing was that there was only one chair for a party of 4. It took them 10 minutes to get the rest of the chairs. We ordered and then they asked us to stand up so that the band could roll it's equipment on stage. That took them 10 more minutes. IT TOOK A HOUR AND 47 MINUTES FOR THE FOOD TO COME OUT! The waitress insisted that it was a busy night. I've been there at least 25 times and it's always been as busy. We asked for a manager and was told that there was none. Either they were lying or the restaurant is so irresponsible that they would not have a manager on during a busy night. Subpar from beginning to end.

    Don't get the hype?

We got there early to avoid the dinner rush and that didn't help matters. We were sat at our table for over 15 minutes before a server approached us to get us a menu and drinks. We we got our food my main dish of fish was over seasoned. I have eaten at many southern restaurants in the south and throughout the US and was quite disappointed. But hey the corn bread is pretty good and the band was great.

    Price Gauger

The owner of this restaurant is gauging. Why charge a fee for the house band to people paying for dinner? This is utterly ridiculous!

    Why the cover charge?

They're charging people $7 cover charge to eat there because they have live band. That's there choice to have live band performing. Some people could careless about that, they just want to go there to eat but having to pay to eat somewhere is definitely a turn off. There're too many great places to eat in LA that don't charge you to eat there. That being said, I'l pass on them.
