mediocre food in a gourmet area
the food is truly mediocre, there is nothing terribly awful about it and it's clean but a ten year old could make better food, the service is pretty good though and everyone is very pleasant and nice

Best Italian around!
Recently moved to Santa Monica and this is by far my favorite place. The service is great, prices are reasonable, portions are perfect, and the food is delicious. Great atmosphere for a sit down meal, whether on a date or with friends and family. Definitely recommend going to Spumoni!

Great Italian in a great neighborhood
You can stroll in here an y time of day for a great meal and a glass of wine. Always plenty of things to see and people to watch on Montana Ave. Enjoy!

Consistently tasty
No matter what I've ordered there, it's always good. The atmosphere is great. Always very busy, at least on the weekends, and fun to people watch, with an authentic, small Italian restaurant feeling. They don't take reservations and there's often a wait, but there's a patio you can wait on and you can walk down Montana Ave - and with all the faces to see - it never seems that bad. And it's worth it - the food is always really good. It's one of those few places where I look forward to ordering something diffferent (I often order the same thing at restaurants when I know it's good) just to see how good it will be. Yum!
