This small, homestyle restaurant has been operated by the same family for the past 13 years. I've been going to Sa Rit Gol for years and can't believe there are no reviews on this site...so I thought I'd be the first. The menu is pretty traditional and similar to a lot of other restaurants, but it's the authentic flavor of each separate dish that sets Sa Rit Gol apart. They are also very famous for offering the most (sometimes more than 10)and the best-tasting "pan-chan" - the small side dishes that accompany Korean meals. If you are looking for a no frills, genuine Korean meal - I highly recommend this place. Must order: Marinated Black Cod (the best I've ever tasted - melts in your mouth!), Seafood pancake, Spicy Braised beef ribs, and if you like kim-chi - try their kim-chi stew - it's so good! Their kim-chi is so good they had to start selling it to guests. Just ask for a container! Of course, their BBQ meats are also delicious. The service is also so much better than other Korean restaurants - I think it's because Sa Rit Gol has a big non-Korean clientele - the waitresses have learned to be more hospitable given their lack of spoken English. The only downfall with Sa Rit Gol is the size...on the weekends, make a reservation if you don't want to wait.
