This used to be a great restaurant. It has completely lost its mojo. The food is now mediocre. But the big shock for us in our recent visit was the padding of the bill. We were charged $55 for a $40 dollar half-bottle of wine. When we questioned it and asked how this overcharge could have happened, the response was not believable. And it bordered on rude. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. It has lost its quality, and now its integrity.

I'm new to LA, but Rustic Canyon has easily become one of my favorites. This restaurant is a great place for some nice wine and dinner. The dishes are not cheap, but they are definitely worth it! Presentation and service here are impressive, and I would recommend their sister restaurant Huckleberry also for a more lowkey lunch also.

A little noisy and hectic, but excellent food and wine. Service was good. No complaints; a nice neighborhood gem.
