    Decent food, a little pricey.

The food tastes fine and most of the time the portions are generous. The price is a little on the high side. I stop by occasionally or by necessity. Nice variety of sandwiches, soups, burgers, some korean dishes, desserts, etc. Nice staff.

    All Around Disappointing!!

Went for breakfast a few weeks ago. The potatoes were like a block of straw. Old straw. Thought I'd give them another chance and went for dinner today. Ordered the open-face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and a soda. $10.00! First thin, out of potatoes so I asked for fries. Second, the dry turkey was thrown on white bread with NO GRAVY. and they didn't have any. I left the tray of untouched food on the counter and walked out, never to darken their door again! Also, I hardly understood a word the server was saying. This is America, ya' know!

    Grilled foods actually Fried

Normally "from the grill" would imply that an item had been grilled with the fat dripping off through metal grates. At the UCLA Plaza Deli and Grill, I was recently disappointed to learn that the 'grilled' food is actually FRIED on a griddle rather than grilled. I am on a fat restricted diet due to a medical condition and developed severe abdominal pain within a few minutes after taking a bite of the "grilled chicken burger" (also not a grilled chicken breast as one might expect). This is when I discovered the lack of honesty in the menu at this establishment. Needless to say, I will no longer be eating at the UCLA Plaza Deli and Grill, nor will I recommend it to any of my medical patients seen in the 100 or 200 Buildings.
