Pitfire Artisan Pizza

Although we have loved the food at this place for many years, we have recently discovered that on certain evenings this restaurant employs a DJ who plays music that is obnoxiously loud. We mentioned this to the mgr. previously but I guess he doesn't care, and seeing that so many people appear to be enjoying the place, apparently they don't care either. We will not eat here when there is loud music. We never minded it when there was piped-in music because the level was tolerable but this isn't to us.

The Burrata Pie and Pepperoni pizzas were perfectly baked. Loved the charred dough and fresh ingredients. The fire pit was great to be around while listening to the live band.

The food is prepared from scratch as you watch. Great ambiance whether you are dining inside or outside.

I love this place! The burrata pizza and the margarita pizza are SO good. the crust is thin and flavorful and I love the assortment and variety of toppings they offer. The chopped salad is good too. I have yet to try the paninis but am looking forward to it, considering the consistent quality of food I have always had at the restaurant. Very healthy tasting pizza, not greasy stuff that leaves you feeling gross after. The sangria is always great and they carry aunt em's (i think thats the name) cupcakes that are some of the best in LA. The location in Westwood has free WIFI too. Not sure about N. Hollywood. The staff has always been courteous and attentive and smiling which is something I appreciate since so many of the places around here have waitstaff that for some reason enjoy frowning. Always a great place to grab some good food!

Great food and service- something you don't find much of lately. Tried the folded chicken pizza and mac and cheese.
