I have been a customer of Piper's since 1985. About 10 years ago it was bought by Korean's. They had the wisdom to leave most of the menu in tact. Here you can get one of the best breakfast, and some awesome salads. But the biggest draw for me is the delicious clam chowder. Talk about comfort food, this is it. They have other good soups also. The prices are very reasonable. But with all the good things I enjoy at Piper's, it is the wait staff that continually draws me back. Even the young men who clear away your dishes are the greatest. James, the son who manages the place now, has a great sense of humor. He has a charming sister who is quiet and warm hearted. Jim's mom is a beautiful talented lady who I surmise holds things together. Check out her flower arrangements. The menu is extensive, and I think there is something for everyone

You can't find that many options together anywhere else, from real breakfast, pastas, great sandwiches and hamburgers and of course their new york steak and their korean bbq short ribs without mentioning their great selection of draft beers and full bar.
