More bang for your buck
If you are looking for a good meal to have during your lunch break, you've found it at this place. Frankly, the best Philly Steak I've ever had. The tastiest Calzone I've ever tried. This place by far is a great bargain and good tasting food on top of it.

Pizza The Way it Should Be!
I'd driven past Philly's a million times over the years, and never noticed it until I moved literally around the corner a few months back. My new neighbors highly recommended the food there, and their recommendations were accurate. Excellent NY style pizza, no frills, but the crust, the sauce, the meats, mushrooms, cheeses, etc. combine very pleasingly. And as an ex NY-er I know the territory. Not fancy for dine-in experiences, but a GREAT take-out quick spot. I'll be trying their cheessteak sandwichs next.

order out, don't dine in
This isn't Morton, so don't expect a chi-chi atmosphere. This a simple pizza-sandwich shop. If you work near by, a must for lunch - just be patient. If you LOVE Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches and great cripsy crinkle cut fries - you are in for a treat! Order out, they deliver quick and always get your order right. Thier antipasto salad is really good - order that with one cheese steak with extra cheese and meat, a large order of fries and you've a great meal for 2. Or order 2 sandwiches and fries and get the salad for lunch the next day!

best pizza in LA
Philly's is the best. Though I've never had there cheese steak, my family and I order pizza from there every friday... it is so delicious and light... Another great thing on the menu is their fried mushrooms with marinara sauce.. When I was pregnant I think I ate it almost EVERYDAY!

Simply delicious!
Philly's Pizza and Grill is simply fascinating! Their Philly cheese stake sandwiches are to die for. I would have to say they have the best Philly cheese stake sandwich in Los Angeles; not to mention the pizza- it's so light and tasty. One of the best mom and pop shops around!!

a delicious find
Phillly's is a great little hidden place. Its philly steaks are delicious, as is pretty much anything else on the menu: pizzas, burgers, and sandwiches. They're really busy during lunch and dinner hours, so it takes a little while for the deliveries. My friends and I have eaten there for the last 10 years and have yet to be disappointed with their food. All in all, it's truly a delicious find.
