Very Limited Lunch Menu
I went here on a Sunday since it's one of the few open restaurants you can find on a Sunday. They gave me a lunch menu which had about 7 sandwiches on it and a few salads. Looks like a popular place judging from all the people there but the food is kind of pricey and mediocre, the service is fair and their menu very limited. Would not go again.

My favorite LA Haunt
I used to go to this place at least 2-3 times a month as I lived a few blocks away. The neighborhood is totally sketch, but you are fine once you walk in the door. Really cool atmosphere at the bar (mellowyou can enjoy a PBR or an upscale wine). Best dishes are mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, and cheeseburger (and Pete's does awesome french fries)! Trust me, you will not go wrong with any of those! Side salads are really good as well. To finish off, be sure to get the bread pudding. You can thank me later. Hipsters, college students, and downtown business types will all feel welcome here.

awesome fries
Came here for a mid-week birthday dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, but the standouts where definately the fries (bleu cheese fries and bacon/cheese fries). YUM! (entrees run around $20-25) Had a sidecar that came nice and strong. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The crowd was a representative mix of downtown business men/women along with the artsy/bohemian crowd. Our waiter was great. there's a parking lot right across the street on 4th. Although it's a flat fee of $6 in the evenings, it beats looking around for street parking.
