    For 28 Years

Almost always the pizza and always the special with added roast garlic (on the side) and fresh tomatoes. No matter who I take, they always rave. And Tony (owner) is ever the perfect host.

    pizza rosa rules

i never (rarely) eat in there - i get takeout. my experience: regular pizza... mleh. cheesy, kinda thick, lacks flavor. bleh. pzza rosa.... awesome - one of the only pizzas i'll eat in l.a. - my sole reason for palermo - i'm about to call for one now. ravioli.... other reviewer was right - good. as far as i can tell - FRESH pasta. however, their red sauce (huge factor) lacks flavor, and all other pasta is generic/tastes like it's out of a box. but lasagna... very cheesy and meaty - i like it. again, tho, the sauce... mleh. but it doesn't need/rely on much sauce chicken diane... creamy, delicious, but very rich - too rich - seems like it needs to be watered down with milk or something. i like their house/homemade dressing. summary: pizza rosa - oh, yeah! everything else... overall, very bland - mostly because of the sauce.

    Makes Olive Garden taste authentic

There's nothing slightly Italian about this place. It makes Olive Garden taste authentic, or at least my recollection of that horrible flavor. The mushroom appetizers were lukewarm and definitely not broiled. The manicotti was bland. The previous reviews were incredibly misleading and I want my money back.

    sssssoooo delicious!

I went with about 15 people. Everyone agreed it was one of the best Italian food restaurants we tried. Especially for the price! The portions are huge. We all had to doggy bag our leftovers. The service was really good too. You just need to go out yourself!

Better than indicated on this site

Though my fellow critics dismiss the food, the ravioli and meatballs are among the best in the city, and the pizza is delicious and hearty. Definitely worth a visit!
