foo foo food for wanna bees
I'm sorry. "The great Nobu" a foo foo establishment and a place for wanna bees? YEAH. It is. The food is ok. I mean what is this edamame-whatever-playfood-b.s.-nonsense? Its pure friggin play food. It looks nice, it sounds, nice, people look nice. But that is so very L.A. for you. You actually dont come here for food (unless your on a diet and need to play with your food). Its a place where some celebs come as a watering hole and because they are given nice treatment. And a place for wanna bees. I'm sorry. Foo-foo-b.s. food. A hang out for airheads, wanna-be-celebs, just-add-water-gansters who need to impress their stripper girl friends about "Malibu" and "Nobu". I PASS on this one. But heck. If your any one of the above. I hear its quite a place for you. Its friggin play food brother. The kind of place you go to for play. And then when you leave you have your dinner. Nobu is the Cartier of restaurants. All looks. All glam. Not much if your looking for food. If your hungry. Go elsewhere. With the portions they bring out, you have to go through $500 just to feel like you ate something. Nobu. The L.A. B.S. thing to do. If your a tourist, welcome. Enjoy.
