I have been coming to Nagao for the past two years since I moved to LA and I have yet to find any sushi place that I enjoy more. Their sushi is amazing, I love that its traditional yet they add theyre own fusion without going overboard like most sushi places tend to do. Really fresh fish, theres only one thing on their menu that I've tried that I didnt like. Usually the waitresses are pretty busy (and can be a little stressed out when it's busy) but they are always very friendly and the chefs seem to really enjoy their job.

Nagao, has the best sushi around, reasonably priced, served fresh. The ambience is amazing, they are not trying to serve lots of people, so you may have to wait for a few minutes for a table or a spot at the sushi bar. This is one of the reasons this is the best of the best. Sushi, the most amazing salads, hot dishes, and fresh sashimi that melts in your mouth. The service is totally amazing .

Tuna Box is the best ever and yellow tailed sashimi is like eating a candy bar. Well worth it.

My husband and I have been eating at Nagao for years and we love it! It's the best sushi restaurant on the west side of Los Angeles. The fish is so fresh that it just melts in your mouth. As with all sushi on the west side it's a bit pricey but well worth it. Great neighborhood feel. The ambiance is very simple and straight forward. The sushi is AMAZING!

This place has fantastic sushi. Huge rolls (you can barely fit them in your mouth) and amazing salads. Relaxing, cozy yet bustling atmosphere with polite service. Always packed, so get there early if you can.

This is one of the poorest sushi bars in all of Loa Angeles. The service is subpar. Many of the rolls are made with mayonnaise. And the atmosphere is cramped. It feels as if the sushi chefs and the waitresses can't wait for you to get out of their space. As if you're presence is a bother. It doesn't matter if you're young, old, asian, white, man, woman. You're disliked no matter what. Additionally, the fish is only moderately fresh and many of the "signature" rolls are made with Nagao's "secret" sauce, AKA slightly altered mayonnaise.

Food has always been wonderful. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Trust Nagao to have only quality sushi and makes any combo you request (even if sounds strange to anyone else). Pleasant, understated restaurant, with amazing cusinie
