This restaurant was incredible. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is good, and the food is even better (I recommend the cheese blitzes). You will most likely be greeted by Leah Adler, Steven Spielberg's mom, and she is an amazing hostess who loves to get to know her customers. My favorite experience here was chatting with Mrs. Adler about her favorite foods and how often she drinks wine. This is a must-try restaurant if you are ever in the Beverly area.

We have eaten at the Milky Way twice-it is one of my favorite places. Mrs. Adler is a wonderful hostess. She visits her patrons and makes suggestions about the terrific food. The first time we went, we made reservations ahead because we wanted to be sure she was there. I had also sent her a letter and a special picture ahead of time. When we arrived, she greeted us like long lost friends and spent a good deal of time chatting about all of her children. We had a great meal and a great time!

My wife and I visited the Milky Way after a suggestion from a friend. It's hard finding a quality kosher vegetarian-friendly restaurant anywhere, but the Milky Way is that and more. For those visiting Los Angeles, they should definitely go to the Milky Way for one very important reason; It's owned and operated by Mrs. Lea Adler, mother of Steven Spielberg. When she is there, she comes around and kibbitzes with everyone, perhaps with wine in hand. When we were done, she took us on tour of 'the Hallway', which I won't ruin...you'll just have to go. Quite honestly, our visit to the Milky Way made our trip to LA fantastic.
