Best experience ever!
From the moment we walked into the door of this charming restaurant, i fell in love with it. The owner was incredibly warm and inviting. It only get better from there. Our waiter was friendly and even sang a tune at our table. And oh my gosh, the food was delicious. The pizza was so tasty. The rolls were to die for. Our lasagna was outstanding. My husband had the Chicken Piccante and we are still talking about it. We are most appreciative of the kind of restaurant that puts out an enjoyable meal at a great value with wonderful atmosphere. Hats off Miceli family.

This place is a rip-off for gawking tourists. Despite their claim as being known for their pizzas, it's the blandest pizza I've ever had. No better than Chuck E Cheese or Little Caesar's. And the place is LOUD. The piano alone isn't so bad, but when the singing starts, it's obnoxious. OK, the place has some 'Old Hollywood" charm, but I will never eat there again, especially not with Musso & Frank right across the street.

L.A. Oldest Italian Restaurant.
Micelli's claim to fame is that it's supposedly L.A.'s oldest Italian restaurant. It's also known as the " home of the singing waiters and waitresses." The food is very average, standard, red sauce Italian fair. Nothing special really. Stick to pasta items with red sauce. Their meatballs are very good. Micelli's is family friendly with a fun/cozy atmosphere.
