When I saw a sushi resurant was opening a block away I was estatic then I went and my bubble popped. Its way to expensive for what they serve. The "valet" parking is street parking so that was funny. Bottom line is eagle rock is a up and coming area with good resturants but its also down to earth so rethink the prices raise the food quality and get better hours.

After we moved into the neighborhood, we were so excited to see a sushi place - well....it's a bit too pricey and sometimes a bit too hip. We've taken to ordering over the phone and taking it home - a little too loud, patio is better. But if you feel the need for sushi and don't want to drive...it works!

After a couple visits I have found the sushi to be consistently just plain "yech." I tend to eat sushi about 2-3 times a month and Mia is among the priciest, blandest around. Total disappointment.

I have been dining at Mia Sushi with my wife since June 2006 and we go approximately 2 or 3 times a month. The sushi is always top quality. We prefer to sit at the sushi bar and have always received good service. The ambiance is nice and is Silverlake-light with the lighting and music. We are very pleased with the consistent quality of the food and vareity of the sushi rolls. I would suggest dining on the pation if you have a group of more than 5. Celebrity sighting - Vin Diesel with a bunch of friends from the local Extreme Gym. The price is reasonable for the quaiy received.

My friends and I have been going to mia sushi since it opened up and we love it. it's convenient and we love the atmosphere and the food is delicious. We will not go anywere else ever since mia opened up.

I'm a long time sushi lover so I welcomed this new addition to my neighborhood. When I want great sushi I'll still go to Little Tokyo, but when I want something easier, faster, closer, Mia works perfectly. The fish is pretty good, and the atmosphere is great (I've sat both inside and outside and really like the patio). However, I agree that this place thinks way too highly of itself and has a bit of an underserved attitude.

food is ok but what a rip, expecially for the neighborhood. i wonder if they will be there next year.
