A taste of Soul!
Love going to M'Dears on Sundays for breakfast after church or anytime. The food always looks fresh and appetizing. The chicken sausage, sweet potato pancakes or waffles, grits everything is delicious. My husband and I have made M'Dears part of our weekly eateries to frequent and its right in our neighborhood. I do agree that the decor can be a little more polished.

Best Greasy Spoon in the area
I like this little place. The cooks have pride in the food. Good standards. The owner needs to improve the decor. The seats wobble and have holes in it. The pictures and paintings on the wall are poorly maintained. There is pride in the food but this is missing from the interior decor. I will continue to eat here.

Treat Others the Way You Want to Be Treated
The food is great, breakfast is down-home cooking. The cooks are great they really enjoy what they do. You can taste it in their food. But on the downside the owner seems to be a little mean to the employees.
