Five of us arrived without reservations Sunday night at 8.30pm and were given the best private room in the place. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was romantic & exotic. All the food was so flavorful, and the tea was amaaaazing!Two were vegetarians and they accomodated us (and charged less for the veggie set meal). Five courses, 3 drinks each came to only $50 per person - $250 with tip for 5 people - excellente! We were so full. The belly dancer came to give us a private dance and taught us all how to do it too - very fun! We were entertaining visiting relatives and it was their favorite evening of the entire holiday. Overall, the food is better than Dar Magrheb, and the place is more beautiful than Moun of Tunis. It was a wonderful find. We are definately going to go back!

I've always wanted to try this Moroccan restaurant, despite it's aging sign outside. Inside, the lighting is very low and accented with dark decor. There were no prices on our menus, but our waiter suggested our dinner. Apparently, my two friends and I had to get the same dinner (the various dinners come w/various courses). The food was okay, but the lamb was particularly delicious. During the meal, a belly dancer performed and forced my friends to join (when they REALLY didn't want to). When we got our bill and realized how expensive it was (about $200 for the 3 of us), we realized it was definately not worth the surprise cost. Overall, and interesting experience, but I don't think I'll be coming here again.
