Some of the best Mexican in LA is right there in the Farmer's Market. It's not the authentic stuff you'll get in East LA and most enthusiasts will scoff at paying almost $3 for a taco about half the size of the ones you can get from a stand or truck, but trust me, it's worth it. All of the meats are stewed in delicious sauces that give them flavors that transcend normal asada and carnitas. First-timers should try a variety of tacos to get the full range of flavors.

I enjoyed the pork burrito I had very much. I asked for mole sauce on the side, which was beyond awesome. I highly reccomend this food stand if your at the grove or near it. But I did not like having to fight for a table or having to bring everything to the table, i mean if you are by yourself, you have to sit at the counter otherwise you will never be able to bring food to a table and enjoy it. So expect great food but bad service and atmosphere.
