Couldn't get better
This is my favorite spot in LA and my girlfriends and I love coming here for coffee on the east side or cocktails on the west side. There are two sides to this incredible cafe's story: one story is the counter service spot for students, the other side is more like a full service bistro. It's the only place in Brentwood, heck Los Angeles, with this much umph. Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere, and affordable prices. Who could ask for more?

i probably know ucla girl
yup, accurate review, ucla girl. my "usual"(3-4 times a week) is the breakfast burrito right around 9:15 with a corona, then a coffee and my laptop til they close. the coffee is really good. i just drink the regular brewed. been there during the day a lot more lately and i gravitate toward their lighter offerings. the turkey asparagus affair sandwich with pesto always seems to win out, but very healthy salads, too. there's alot of great energy in the place and ideal to watch listen and get inspired.

Best Of Everything! (including people)
I've been comin here since freshman year, and the value, staff, food and atmosphere are all wonderful. literati has THE BEST coffee in LA and offers breakfast at night and meatloaf for breakfast. People watching is MAJOR, and i feel comfortable surrounded by students, athletes, and people concerned with their health all day long.
