Limani Taverna

This Greek restaurant has the potential to be a great place. It open relatively a short time ago and it has big shoes to fill. It is located where Papadakis had been for years. I was welcomed graciously, live music was playing and it was festive. However, it was very loud and there was no break in the music in order to have a conversation. The quiet while walking to the car after dinner was a welcomed relief. The menu was varied, but the food was average. The dishes were well seasoned but not hot, and one chicken dish was a bit undercooked close to the bone. At the end of our meal a large party arrived and the wait staff became focused on them. Unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed for a party of that size. So, we decided not to have dessert and paid the bill after getting our waiter's attention. All of the above issues, if addressed, would make this a great restaurant. Would I return? Probably, I'd like for this restaurant to succeed.

We were welcomed with open arms. The service was excellent and our server was amazing to check and see that we were happy. I will go there again ! I am going tonight to watch the belly dancers, OPA!

Great food, awesome service. Excellent effort to keep the Papdakis style restaurant in San Pedro. Tell your friends to give it a try they will not be disappointed with food or service. We need to support local businesses otherwise we could end up with another big business food chain. Lamb dish was excellent, appetizers wonderful.

the restaurant was o.k. but the owner refused to honor HIS discount coupon from the local Best Buy Book which was an embarrising event to close the evening. We had guest with us and did not want to discuss this at the table but not the way to treat locals when just starting up.
