Best Mexican Vegetarian in the Valley
A best friend of mine who was vegetarian introduced me to Leonor's, oh I'd say about seventeen years ago! The kitchen used to make "regular food" that included meat, but after sometime, I don' know if the health department got on their case about it, but it became 100% vegetarian. The owner has cleaned up the place and its a lot brighter than it used to be. I worked for a non-profit walking distance from Leonor's and usually dined-in, and continue to do so, so don't be scared of the "area." It's not bad at all. Take in a little bit of the NoHo culture in this vicinity while you munch on awesome chicken enchiladas, freshly baked cheese empanadas, shrimp tacos, or build your own sandwich. Everything is incredibly fresh and made to ordertry the flax iced tea or have a freshly juiced beverage...you want healthy AND good? go to Leonor's!

Yes it's good!
I usually order take out from this place. It is really good. All ingredients are very fresh. The staff is very friendly too! They have great tofu tacos. Trust me I am not a fan of tufo but these tacos are great! They are called chicken tacos. They even have tofu shrimp tacos, you have to try it. I don't like the area much but that's why I do take out. They have plenty of parking in the back and it gets packed at lunch time. By far the best vegetarian place in no ho!
