Le Petit Bistro

My husband and I went to this restaurant in West Hollywood and received horrible service, where the waiter brought my husband the wrong pasta dish TWICE! The 2nd time, the pasta tasted like they threw a can of pasta sauce over the noodles and forgot to add some major ingredients to the dish that were listed on the menu (like capers). We brought this up to our waiter and he brought us a bowl of capers on the side. Does this sound like a French restaurant you want to eat at for $$$? Let's just say, my husband did not finish his meal and he would eat pretty much anything. We do not recommend this place.

This restaurant is a gem among its trendier neighbors. It has the look & feel of a bistro you'd find in Paris. The food is scrumptious, with the delectable sauces one only finds in French cuisine. Menu prices are commensurate with most restaurants in LA. Our last visit, my husband & I had two appetizers (the brie & mussels), 2 entrees, 2 cocktails & 2 beers. Our bill was a reasonable $100. It can be a little loud, & seating is a little close to your neighbors, but that is a little bit charming. I highly recommend it to people who dine out for the FOOD, not the 'scene.'
