Only so-so
Went there for my birthday with company from Europe and had drinks in the bar, nice glass of wine accompanied by stale potato chips. What an embarrassment! Then up to the restaurant where the decor and ambience left much to be desired. The best food item was the olive tapenade. My crab cake made me queasy it was so rich with its odd mandarin orange cream sauce. Not going back.

Simply the best steak in town
I went to LA Prime for my birthday. The steaks we had were like nothing I have ever had before.Actually you could cut the meat with a fork. Excellent flavor,presented well on the plate very large.service was excellent with good timing.extensive wine list with some excelent values.Outstanding view of the city at night.The cocktail lounge revolves so you see the entie city of Los Angeles.What a wonderful birthday. Thank you LA Prime..
