    authentic mexican food

I finally found a good mexican restaurant with authentic mexican dishes. They are not limited to the commonly known burritos and tacos, but they serve traditional mexican dishes like cecina, pollo en mole, huachinango, tinga, tampiquena. If you have not heard these, try la huasteca. They cook the meat a la mexicana! You will be very satisfied with the food. If you're in the mood for sweet try el cafe the olla (mexican coffee), and capirotada. La Hueateca is my favorite mexican restaurant.

    Great ambiance and great food.

This restaurant is located in the Plaza Mexico, which is designed to resemble a traditional mexican plaza. The restaurant itself offers a unique dining experience, sort of upsale Mexican dining , without putting a dent in your wallet. The ambiance and the decor are awesome. The restaurant has an ample dining area, and on a Friday or Saturday night you can enjoy live mariachi music. The menu is not very extensive though. Nevertheless, the mole is excellent. You even get mole as a dipping sause for the tortilla chips! Also, the tortillas are handmade. This is a restaurant to try if you're in the area.
