This Place is Subpar
I went here and ordered the general chow's chicken and ate one piece of it. It tasted like a citron cake. The server didn't come back until he brought the check and then when I told him, he still charged me for it. I would recommend China Wok if you are in studio city.

Bad Service
I had gone to this place a few times. They were very nice until I had a delivery made. The story goes... I called in for delivery for some lo mein noodles and soup. Well the delivery was fast and great except that I didn't get any utensils for my soup. "How am I going to eat soup without a spoon?" Well I called and noted to them that i didn't receive any spoons; their only response was that on a sunday they don't "give out utensils unless asked". I then told the lady that I had in advanced asked for some utensils because I'm working at a business and there aren't any utensils. I never received them and my soup had to wait till I got home. I'm never going here again.

Best Chinese in east SFV
Kung Pao is a very good version of Americanized Chinese food, and its vegetarian and seafood dishes are exemplary in every way. Soups are also a strong point, with the wor wonton and soup of the sea being my favorites. No msg in the building helps greatly. Their shrimp and scallops dishes are truly wonderful, regardless of which preparation. Order scallops with string beans and eggplant in a szechuan hot garlic sauce(not on menu), have the kitchen toss in some jalapenos for some real kick, and sit back and relish quality dining in your very own local chinese restaurant. Have seen Donald Sterling there many times for lunch and he drives there from Beverly Hills.
