Fun but not that impressed
I must say I do enjoy and would go more often to Katsuya if it wasn't so overpriced, but I guess you're paying for the atmosphere and slightly better fish. The crispy rice was one of the better ones I've had (Giesha house is poor all around hehe), but stay away from the Almond Crusted Scallops!! EW. Not good. The sushi is great and the atmosphere is fun. We did have trouble with a table since we didn't have a reservation but being a Tuesday night and empty we didn't think it was that serious but obviously they gave us a hard time to maintain that "exclusive" image *cough bs cough*. All around I would go back when I had some money and wanted to have a nice sceney night on the town :)

Much more of a scene
this place is fun if you are in the mood for a hwood scene. i prefer the brentwood location. not nearly as much of a scene and same great menu. baked hand crab roll is the best here. i crave them. their crispy rice is also better than all the others (nobu, katana, koi, etc)
