The best thai food in LA.
The title says it all. Service is dreadfully slow, but good things come to those who wait. Staples are grand, but venture out and try their southern thai specialties and you won't be disappointed. Also know that they haven't necessarily muted down the chilies to accommodate the western palate, so if you want mild, better say so.

Awesome Southern Thai
My better half and I have been there twice and we will return again and again. The menu consists of Thai favorites that everyone will find recognizable, but turn to the last page and make your choices from the list of Southern Thai dishes. This menu is not for the timid! Prepare to experience the heat. Almost everything we have ordered so far as been superb. I reccomend the Catfish Curry with Tea Leaves, the Mango Salad (which has a delightful full blast of heat that creeps up on you) and the Water Spinach with Yellow Beans.
