Highly Recommended
My boyfriend and I both went abroad to the UK in college and quickly acquired an addiction to Indian food. However, when we moved to L.A. for graduate school and tried at least 7 different Indian restaurants on the Westside, we were disappointed with the over-priced, greasy, or flavorless cuisine. Tonight we decided to try one more place, Jaipur, and were finally satisfied! This place is small and quaint with attentive service and excellent cuisine. The chutneys and popadoms are complimentary and quite tasty, so the meal started off well. We tried 2 different kinds of naan that we had never tasted before (one stuffed with spinach and the other with nuts & dried fruit) and they were exceptional. I enjoyed my saag paneer and my boyfriend found his Chicken Makhni similarly delicious. The Masala Chai was mild, but good. And then as the server brought out the check, we were served complementary sliced strawberries, which I have never seen done before at an Indian restaurant, but it was a nice touch. We both left satiated and satisfied. The parking is a bit tough, but I definitely suggest this place!
