I eat out a lot, mostly in LA and this place is every bit as good, without the attitude the inflated prices. This place just keeps getting better and better and busier and busier. It wont be very long before the word is out, and our small town Ristorante is over run by trendy foodies. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I feel compelled to review this restaurant, which I've eaten in innumerable times, never having a less-than-perfect meal. It doesn't hurt that it's located in the quaint waterfront town of San Pedro. Once you walk through the door, you feel the warm and welcoming ambiance. The always-personable maitre 'd greets you in the way we all wish to be greeted, when walking into a restaurant, and the wait staff is always extremely friendly and accommodating. Their wine list is superb and their menu selections are excellent, with surprising twists. Their Calamari with Spicy Thai Sauce is one of the best things I've ever had the pleasure of tasting! The Shrimp and Clam Risotto is unequaled anywhere, as is their Chicken Marsala and Veal Scallopini. Steaks are delicious, as are their impressive desserts. If you're ever in the San Pedro area, you'd be doing yourself a real disservice if you didn't stop by this fine restaurant for lunch or dinner. I promise you, you won't be sorry you did!

This is a 5 star eatery with laid back California ambience. Traditional calimari is a must. Being near the harbor the fish selection is the freshest. Check out the daily specials.
