Too expensive for poor service and poor attitude.

This has been my favorite sushi restaurant since I was 5 years old.... And I'm in my thirties now. Nuff said! I love it, I love it, I love it!!!! The greatest atmosphere of all. They really know what they're doing! A great date spot...perfect lighting and great decor. When they're in season, Get the sweet shrimp cause they're super sweeeeet!!!Yum yum yum. And get a shirt!

I've been to many Japanese restaurant in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Irvine, and Japanese cuisines on Sawtelle. This sushi place, Iroha Sushi of Tokyo, is the best restaurant i have ever been to. this restaurant has its reputation in Tokyo and this restaurant is worth it. Their fish is very fresh espacially 'uni' (sea urchin) and their Toro and their hot plates are really good. For this kind of satisfaction, the price is reasonable.

I've gone to Iroha a bunch of times and have always enjoyed it. It's close to home but that's not why I go there, as there are tons of sushi places on Ventura. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food is very good, albeit a bit pricey. I usually go around lunch time and haven't had trouble getting a seat. Parking is a little sparse, but there is a valet. Anyway, I'd recommend the place.

Maybe I've been spoiled by getting to have GREAT sushi very often, but I was expecting a lot more from this place after reading reviews online. Either people have very indiscriminating taste in sushi or I went on a very off night. They had the reservation wrong, which I had called to confirm earlier in the day, had only written down half of my phone number which is why they didn't call me, didn't have a table for us, made us wait 30 minutes, and when they did finally seat us, it was at the table right by the bathroom. Call me a snob, but all of this is totally unacceptable. Even if my meal were free, I expect much more from any restaurant I choose to patron. Our service was slow, the sushi was okay, at best, and certainly far from great. We did have a crab roll wrapped in cucumber which was really good, but everything else was mediocre and done better at other restaurants. The one good thing is we didn't leave smelling like fish/tempura, which is nice, but overall, I would go elsewhere.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. Quite honestly I hated sushi before I came here. It has such a relaxed atmosphere with great service and evern better food. You will not find a better Japanese restaurant in L.A.
