I like the food and always feel welcome
I'm not an Indian food expert, but I love their chicken tikka massala, and whenever i veer form the usual I'm pleasantly rewarded. The manager or owner, remembers me and all my friends, he always asks how we are doing and if we haven't been there in a while asks if everything's ok. I took my family there when they were visiting and he still asks how they are. Sure sometimes the service is just little slow, but it's always firendly. And sometime they suggest stuff i don't want, but are fine with me turning them down. Basically i eat at this place all the time, and have never had a bad experience.

Great food. Fast delivery.
I have been ordering food from India's Oven for ten years. I don't know about the in house service, but these guys deliver faster than you can order. The food is great. Good price. However, if you are looking for some trendy LA lite vegitarian fare... you're outta luck. This is a real food. A bit heavy for some. But tasty.

Shocked to see the customer service!!!!!
I'm really shocked to see such a poor customer service in at this place. I can bet you will get a better service in fast food place! During a week-day, I went with office friends to taste their newly introduced (priced at $10.50) buffet, thinking that there will be a value for the money (look around - no Indian place they charge $10.50 for lunch buffet on a week-day). Very disappointed with food, all were cold. I'm an Indian and loves Indian food (no surprise!!). All of us felt the food was lousy and talked to the manager. For heaven's sake, please do not visit this place. The manager is someone who is irresponsible, and arrogant.

$25 for no Service and No food.
Even though I've had one bad experience with India's Oven earlier, the three of us went there for a working lunch knowing we could get a quiet corner for us to discuss business. They have recently launched their 'All you can eat Buffet' during lunch time and we decided to give it a try. We came back without any food after paying $25. We didn't like the food. Unfortunately we realized this only after taking the food on our plate. When we pointed out the quality of the food and our doubt that it was not fresh, the manager's response was, "Well, you're entitled to your opinion and we value your inputs but since you've got the food on your plate you will have to pay for it". We requested if we could try their a-la-carte in stead and his response was, 'As long as you will pay for the buffet first'. It was a humiliating experience for the three of us. We were treated as if we were trying to steal food from them. We left without eating and had to pay-up $25 (he gave us a discount as we had not eaten our food, otherwise he would have charged $35.50).

pressured and then ignored
I just had the the most insulting and horrible and dining experience of my entire life. My fiancee and I are young professionals and were out with a friend for dinner. First we were "asked" 3 times if we wanted curry and we said no. Then the fourth time we were "asked" if we wanted an appetizer as the food came to the table! NO!!!!! I am a professor not a lemming. The owner himself was doing all this horrible pressuring. I am also diabetic and twice asked for diet coke and was given regular soda and when I told them it was regular they said no and ignored me after that. This insulted me quite deeply. We were grilled when I gave a low tip by the now rude, invasive and extremely unprofessional owner/jerk who lied to me about "california water" tasting sweet and how it is not fair to be unhappy as a custumer.

Indian Foodie Reviews Indian Food
This is my go-to indian place. decent food, decent price, decent atmosphere. One thing especially likable is that the flavors in the dishes tend to be generally true to home-cooked indian food. nice place for a cheap date... but don't be stunned when you see the bottles of Fetzer and Gossamer Bay prominently displayed as you enter. enjoy!
