    It felt like Italy

I cannot begin to tell you when I have had a more enjoyable meal...The atmosphere, Service, and meal was the most enjoyable dining experience I have had in I can't remember when. It was a special celebration and my son could not have picked a better place in LA. The food was superb! If you don't go there while in the city, you have your own self to blame! Fabulous!

    Great Restaurant

I was with a party of 6, and we sat in the enclosed patio on a cold winter night. The atmosphere was beautiful, warm and cozy with beautiful large trees growing naturally out of the ground and little lights and a large fireplace making the whole place glow. The patio was enclosed with a clear roof and had extremely high ceiling. The servers were very knowledgeable about the food and were patient through all of our questions. All of the cutlery, dishes and linens were so beautiful, unique and lovely. The food was delicious. Simple food done extraordinarily well. I had the jidori brick chicken which had the most delicious crispy skin and was very moist. We had the crustinis (the mushroom one was to die for), the margarita pizza, the Brussel sprouts and the polenta funghi. I could have licked the mushroom polenta out of the adorable little pot it came in! Also had the beet salad which was superb. For dessert we had the salted Nutella tart which was so yummy. Really a restaurant to go to for a very special event. Highly recommend it!

Great dinner!! Food was fantastic, I shared with a little group. We had the Warm Olives, Bolognese, Pizza, Branzino with Brussels Sprouts, Osso Bucco with Rissotto and Nutella Crustata with Gelato. All crazy good!! Great wine too. beautiful restaurant and very good service. I enjoyed the music too.

    Romantic!

Love the new decor (patio & interior), curtains, iron work, wall treatments, lighting, and the food, did I mention the food? Love the menu! Oh, the service, our server was handsome and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

    The BEST

The decor inside is elegant and warm with a beautiful fire place. The patio setting is like dining outside in Provence with lights in the trees that look like honeycomb. As I sat as my table and looked around everyone was taking in how lovely the outdoors setting was. The bread was served fresh from the oven lightly salted and drizzled in olive oil. The menu said "preview" but i hope the Cod makes the cut. While some dishes were better than others everything was very well executed. All the dishes were simple, no pink foams or magic tricks needed. No complaints from start to finish - Grazie

    all servings excellent

Three of us ordered different dishes, salads/entree/desserts. We all agreed after tasting all, that the dishes were fantastic. We had a great server, service, food recommendations, and wine. He steered us in the right direction in all aspects. There was nothing that was could be criticized from the valet to the host, to the dining experience.

    A great neighborhood restaurant

The looks have changed dramatically from the old Orso's. Thank God the patio is still wonderful. A bit more formal, but still relaxing and inviting. The inside is lovely. More intimate than before. I would love to see them remove the swaged drapes seperating the main dining from the patio. It is toooooo schmaltzy. The food was excellent as was the service. I am going back next week ....
