Unappetizing
food was inedible. ! wouldn't really call it sushi! my rice was mushy my avocado was brown, my ginger warm, wasabi dry! not fresh not good

Subpar
I stopped by the Marina Del Rey location and I tried to like it (I really did) but the sushi was really unappetizing! First off, the rice was gummy (properly cooked and seasoned rice is a must for good sushi) and pre-done in a flat sheet (this would be ok if it tasted ok but it didn't) they open a box and pull out a sheet of rice that tasted like its been sitting there for hours. secondly, the portions of ingredients they give you are small compared to the amount of rice - so the ratio just tastes off (too much rice) The seaweed was chewy, the strawberries were frozen, the decor was ok and the staff was ok (actually they were not that friendly just ok) the place seemed a little silly to me with how much they ask me "If I'm ready to roll" and "thanks for rolling with us" I mean come on I get the name already.

This place is amazing!
This is such a cool concept. The food is delicious and really fresh!
