Harold & Belle's

My best friends, Greg ,Rehea and I visited Harold & Belles on 3-28-15. It was a totally enjoyable experience. It appeared to be a spot for "regulars" and new guests as we enjoyed a meal at the bar. The staff was friendly and helpful from the floor manager on. We were especially impressed by our bartender "Alex" who exuded equal amounts of charm, inner & outer beauty. A rare combination. It appeared another gentleman and two ladies further down the intimate bar shared my opinion of Alex. I will be a more frequent visitor as the drive from Orange Co. was well worth it for my friends and me. Thank you Harold & Belles.

Family visiting here from Texas and wanted to try this place out, and most of the previous reviews were great, so why not? Upon entering I was immediately let down, the place smells of an old house, and the decor is as lackluster as it gets. But it gets worse... Price was not an issue, however if food is pricey, I at least expect it to taste good! The portions look huge on sight, but only because the bottom is layered with thick pieces of bread. Also my shrimp had a sour taste to it, I had to stop eating it. Nobody in my party of seven were pleased with their food. Lastly, the service was lacking at best, will never return to this spot. Save your money people!

The food at Harold and Belle's is the best food ever. The portions are enormous and you will always have food to bring home. The service is great and I have never had a bad meal. I have eaten at H & B's for over 25 years and the only thing that I miss is the fried stuffed shrimp. I recently took my best friend there for her birthday and the food and service were incredible. You will always be treated with respect and great service and the best part the food is great.

This is one of my favorite restaurants as far as food goes. It's a bit pricey...however, the portions are large, and the seafood is always fresh. It seems that the portions are getting smaller -- yet the prices are not. My only real 'not so great' comment relates to the service. Although the service is getting better, it's not up to par with the quality of the food. On another note, I don't believe they have live entertainment any more and the bar is very small (probably seats 10). For live entertainment, I'd go to LaLouisianne.

This is my favorite resturant in the entire world . I have traveled the WORLD. In fact I will be in Dublin Ireland this Christmas. I love the Shrimp Ryan and the Fish Platter. The service is always a gamble I have had good to Very poor service, never excellent .They make a lot of money. Management could put some more effort into the decor. It's dated and a little tacky. Drinks are great Overall You will be satisfiedwith the food

I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. The food is great. Never once have I been disappointed. The people that work there are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I have always felt welcomed.

I live in Northern Calfiornia and my family is in the L.A. area. I can NEVER come home and not make a visit to Harold & Bells. My favorite is the shrimp Ryan, but I always eat from my familys' plates as well. The service is always nice and with the right timing, there is always some celebrity there. I was honored to meet Steve Harvey there last year when I came for my b/day dinner. I have traveled to L.A. just to have dinner there and come home the next day and I'm no movie star, but I LOVE THEIR FOOD and the DRINKS ARE THE BOMB. I could care less about the expense of the food as long as it is GOOD.
