For a laid back, fun time.
First off, if you're looking for a korean bbq experience, this is definately not the place. That said, Gyu-Kaku on the westside is definitely the best of the locations. Pros: The place is small and usually packed so the atmosphere may seem a bit hectic, but it's lively, laid back and great place for good food, good friends and laughs. The staff is always great -- real friendly. My friends and I always have a great time. Cons: The food is tasty, but overpriced considering the small portions (and it's really lame that you have to pay for things like rice in an Asian restaurant). The parking situation is not good. There is usually a wait on weekends, but it's worth it. Just order a beer in the meantime! Cheers!
