Fine and affordable dining on the Hill
When we walked in, we were graciously greeted by the manager/ owner and made welcome. We took the $25.95 prix fixe, an unbelievable value. The starter was a cream of asparagus soup followed by a choice of the house or a caesar salad. We took one of each and both were several cuts above the usual greens and dressing. Of couse, we both chose the filet mignon for our entrees. At such a price, how can one resist? I have to say the filets were better than the one I recently had at a famous steakhouse that charged a lot more for their steak than the entire meal at Grill. The dessert offerings were cheesecake or house made mango sorbet- bothj excellent. A great ending to a fine meal. The only negative was the wine, however, that was due to our trying to save a bit more money and ordering a lesser quality Merlot. The prix fixe was actually more than I usually eat and next time, I plan to order from the menu. Can't wait to try more entrees. We are planning to reserve a larger table for a Holiday party.
