Favorite brunch in LA
I discovered this place four years ago through a friend and have continually gone back for brunch on weekends ever since. The selection of pancakes are awesome; they're also huge enough to feed a family of four. Favs are always one of their omelettes and the service for the most part is pretty consistent. Waitstaff is friendly and good looking. Downsides would include the long lines after 10am; I wake up early for their food but if you're looking for a leisurely brunch with a party of bigger than 4 then you may want to look elsewhere.

ok
So, we went to see what all the hoopla was about. Friday morning and the place was packed -- we had to wait outside for about 20 minutes. The food was ok (Doughboys is better). My omelet was a bit watery. We got the "secret" french toast (you need the password) which was about $10 for 2 big pieces. It wasn't so special except it was overly sweet and covered in cinnamon. Our waitress was nice, though.
