    Gourmet Bites

I have eaten at Gourmet Bites for a number of years - and have always enjoyed their salads. Their fresh squeezed juice combinations are delicious.

    Best Turkey Burgers!

I'm not going to lie - this place is not "gourmet", but the turkey burgers are the best in town. Seriously. I've had turkey burgers at high-end restaurants (Akasha), diners (Swingers) and in between, and Gourmet Bites has them all beat. Order it with cheddar cheese and onions and you have an amazing, juicy, flavorful lunch for about $5. Don't order anything else here. There's no point when there's only one good thing, and it happens to be really great.

Prices Keep Goin Up, Quality Down

Totally agree with some of the other posters. Staff is unfriendly, and food is mediocre at best. They just raised the prices yet again for what was already kind of disappointing. They arent REALLY the only choices in the area though..If the idea of a sloppy, greasy burger and fries for $8.00 offends you (it does me), you walk an exta block north, east, or west, you'll find better food for less $.

    Limited Options

The salads and the burgers are fine here, but most everything else I've had has been pretty poor. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich a while back (that was supposed to come with carmelized onions), and ended up getting a cold chicken sandwich (not grilled) with raw bermuda onions thrown on it. And this was after I was given the wrong thing twice prior. Yeccch. The simplest request for anything deviating from the menu seems to confuse the hell out of the staff and, yes, as reported here by others, wait times can be lengthy. I suggest calling your order in for pickup in advance.

    ewww.

As much as I despise getting food at gourmet bites, it's all we've got. overpriced (and the prices just went UP, if you can believe that) horrible service...I was in line while someone was stacking coffee cups and two other employees were talking. I called in on my cell and the coffee cup stacker answered, saying "please hold" and went back to stacking coffee cups. I walk to Ralph's unless there's no choice. Black Dog across the street is ten times better, and cheaper.
