Not As Good As You Hoped...
I went with two other people who left feeling much like I did. It was expensive for not too much food. We hadn't heard the "entrees" were small plates. A grown man will be ordering 3-5 of these easily. The food overall was great. They have Crispy Duck Tongue. That was pretty unique. They have a few different Foie Gras selections that were pretty tasty. The best thing I had was the dessert. It was sort of an orange sorbet with a rose water froth. Very good. Overall the food was great the portions were not so great. The service was perfect. Very nice and helpful. After all, their tip is huge for bringing you very little actual food. Excellent menu knowledge which helped a lot. The decoration is pretty cheesy. Lots of gold and pink. The furniture is different styles in different areas. The walls are different. I just didn't like it much. I'm glad I went but I probably won't go back. I didn't feel like I had just eaten somewhere special, let alone a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Most of the crowd was tourists or typical West Hollywood living on the parents money types. Valet is expensive. It's in a hotel. It's kind of ugly. The service is great. The food is tasty. I guess you'll have to go and write a better review!
