Chillin' Ol' Hollywood style
It's is by far one of my favorite places in Hollywood. It's been around since the days when UA was next door and Ol' Hollywood would come through to get their drink on. The decor remains the same and somehow makes one feel nostalgic for a simpler sweeter time. I like how it's dark and intimate with big roomy booths in the front and cable car seating in the back. On the other side and upstairs are more private spaces where you can throw an intimate party for you and your 50+ closest friends. The staff is efficient and direct. The food is delicious even though the menu has changed recently (and I miss the eggplant with brown rice). Cocktails are always strong and quite enjoyable to sip on in such a mellow frame of space.
