Great food but...
the prices have creeped up, and the portions are getting smaller. It seems like they are being cheap with the thing that made them successful.

Off The Chain
I have been going to Flossie's for years now and the crowd on Sunday's and during the week is very diverse for soul food. The Mac and Cheese, Oxtails and Short ribs are a favorite. Whenever I tell my daughters we need to go to Flossies they light up big time because they love the Fried Chicken and Greens. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT.

Yummy Yummy!
I concur with the below review. I feel flossies has the best soul-food in LA. Their fried chicken is bomb, their fried catfish is bomb, their baked chicken is bomb, their baked bbq chicken (sat only) is bomb. They serve this corn caserol that is delicious. their bisquits are like grandmama makes. The carmel cake, OMG , Super bomb. It is also good because their food is not overgreased like other soul food places. The sad thing is that a lot of people don't know about this place? So I will go forth and spread the gospel of Flossies! Oh, and bomb=good!
