My very favorite in LA
Living in NYC, but hailing from LA, this is my absolute favorite place to eat when I'm home. The food is inventive and unfailingly delicious - the burrata ravioli and poached beef are both amazing. Mark, the chef/owner, is incredible nice and hospitable and creates a really warm and jovial environment. It's a pleasure to spend an evening here, and if you're a New Yorker like me, maybe you'll get lucky and Mark will make you an egg cream for dessert.
