A Better Side of LAX
If you've never been to Encounter and maybe want to celebrate an occasion or just go someplace different, Encounter is that! Forget about the traffic at LAX and pull into a fun, Star-Trek like atmosphere were you can sit down and try one of their many varieties of cold beer, a glass or wine or a cocktail. You can just "space" out as you come up in the tiny elevator and then, through all the glass , watch the airplanes, people and hustle bustle below you -- or sit and have a nice intimate dinner. Last time I was there, had the Flat Iron Steak and it was awesome! There aren't many good restaurants left in the Westchester area, so Encounter is something to think about! Prices are in the $15-35 range for entrees.
