subpar take-out
My take-out lunch of spicy mint noodles with pork was SWIMMING in grease, contained no mint (only a couple leaves of basil), mushy noodles, and best of all, the fork included was so flimsy that it bent when pressed into the noodles. Also, lunch is no cheaper than dinner though the portion you get is definitely lunch-sized. So save yourself the trouble.

nice place, great service and very good foods!!
i accidentally walked around westwood area to find the place for my dinner and found Emporium thai restaurant. The restaurant itself was small but comfortable, the decoration is very nice (i personally like the table clothes ;-) ). Food Quality is Excellent!! perhaps i was lucky coz it wasn't busy, i got my food very fast. i ordered the spicy seafood padthai, very tasty!!!, the padthai sauce differed from others i been to and little bit spicier . The price is average like others unless u order the special ones. Service was VERY GOOD, like i said, probably i was so lucky coz there were only couple people when i got in. The server were so friendly, smile all the time and refill my water until i said it's enough!! but its good tho, coz the padthai was quite hot. over all Emporium Thai cousine is one of my best restaurant, and i recommend u guys give them a try! ;-)

nice little place
Perhaps people had bad takeout experiences, but I found it a nice place to eat in. The food was properly spicy and complex (especially a top-notch papaya salad and great chicken-shrimp pancake) . The service was disorganized and linguistically challenged but friendly throughout.

Subpar takeout, wont do it again
Me and my Girlfriend ordered some food from them today, had them deliver. First off, the instant we call, the lady that answers puts us on hold REALLY fast "Thank you for call you hold now i put on hold real fast thanks you" for about a minute, then she gets with us (and rushes us through the ordering process as fast as possible) the food got here about 45-50 minutes after ordering, and we got our food. -Mee krob (deep fried rice with shrimp and chicken and sweet and sour sauce). -Spicy shrimp fried rice. -Shrimp pad woon sen (Glass noodle + vegie + shrimp). first off, the mee krob...it was like eating styrofoam dipped in that red sweet and sour sauce oriental food has. the green onion that came with it was quite old (the tips were foamy white colored). my girlfriend was not able to have the chicken in it, so we ordered it without chicken, now i can understand not compensating it with extra shrimp, but we only had 2 shrimps total out of it, that seems rediculous...and keep in mind this is like an 8 dollar dish. the spicy rice, warning: if you dont like pepper, dont get it. this stuff is VERY spicy, to the point wherei couldnt eat it, it was like they boiled a mass of black pepper (i say this becuase i ouldnt actually see any) and cooked it in the resulting liquid after straining it. my girlfriend says she can fix it, which is good, but i find it a bit bad when you have to cook your takeout. finally, the noodle and shrimp. i cant say mucha boutthat, it was decent, not overly good, but not bad, though it was very bland. we used the sweet sauce that came with the mee krob on it and it gave it enough flavor to be good, this dish is the only reason this review gets a 1 for the food, becuase something was able to be eaten. long story short: the spicy food was overly spicy (even when it says its spicy, it should not be uneatable.) and the other was like eating styrofoam with a complete lack of the meats it was suppose to have. look elsewhere.

Best Thai food ever.......
I love dining out and always try different restaurants. I have to admit that from all of Thai Restaurants I tried, Emporium Thai has lots of greatest dishes that I couldn't find in any other Thai places. Southern Curry, Honey Ribs, Salmon Teriyaki, Green Curry, Tom Yum and Tom Kha Soup, Emporium Fried Rice, Pad Thai and many more.....I really love their food and atmosphere.

Best Native Curries
I read the other review, which is in my opinion completely off. Since I live in the neighborhood, I order from them quite frequently. The curries, especially, are very good.

Bad Bad Bad
Might just be the worst Thai food I have ever had. And if you're eating alone, be aware of their $20 minimum credit card policy
