Good venue for group
Easily accomodated a group of ten of us for a birthday luncheon there on a Wednesday. There weren't too many other guests this day, so we got a long, nearly private table near the window (great view of subway construction on First!) and attentive service. Seafood enchilda was very good, ample portions and distinctive flavors, such as the light-colored beans dusted with parmesan cheese. Dinner salads were big and fresh with tomatos, beets and macaroni salad. Great selection of beverages (horchata, lemonades were refilled frequently). A strolling mariachi delivered a soul-stirring "Sabor Ami," and the waitress brought a hefty slice of cake for the birthday boy. Lots of parking in the rear of the building. A good reason to visit this historic section of LA near the Evergreen Cemetery.

Had a good seafood lunch in L.A.
We happened upon a great Mexican seafood resturant is east L.A. I kind of felt like I was in Cabo when I 1st walked in. We had shrimp soup and it was a big hit. All of food was good, from fried fish soft tacos to a very good menudo. They had many soups and cocktails. Service was good and friendly. Very affordable and clean. Parking was in the rear and there were plenty of TVs to watch scoccer. Oh and a good twist , they used corn and flour chips for their chips & salsa.
